Dr Jeeve Kanagalingam
Education and Training
Dr Jeeve Kanagalingam read pre-clinical medicine at the University of Cambridge as a Chevening Scholar and then obtained his medical degree from the University of Oxford, UK in 1996. He pursued postgraduate training in Otolaryngology in London, training at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, the Royal Marsden and Charing Cross Hospitals. He obtained the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2006, and was awarded the Gold Medal.
In 2007, Dr Jeeve pursued advanced training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. He has also received advanced training in Laryngology on a Singapore Government Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) programme at the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
Dr Jeeve was a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Singapore’s Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 2008-2012 where he led the Head and Neck Service. From 2012-2017, he served as Visiting Head and Neck Surgeon to Johns Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre.
Research and Teaching
Dr Jeeve is Assistant Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is also a Senior House Tutor. He has authored 37 peer-reviewed papers and 3 book chapters.
